The following steps are taken to ensure the control on piracy:
- Regular visits to the local & big cities to ensure smooth flow of marketing of the Punjab
- To ensure the availability of the textbooks at the nerve centres
- To ensure that the allocation of required textbooks is done before real shortage of textbooks
- A unique Security Label with special characteristics is used to be pasted on each textbook of PCTB to be sold in open market to show as genuine textbook
- Regular meetings with the whole sale agents & book sellers
